It moves well beyond the traditional travel and leisure program for it is a travel and cultural enrichment and competency development program emanating from the people in the local government. The program features many exciting and many exhilarating facets of the Philippines.

The program explores the best kept secrets and untold stories of the Philippines that will really touch the hearts and lives of many.

Kahanga-hangang Pilipinas will make each and every Filipino proud.

This is from Monday to Friday, 9am to 9:30am magazine-style television program in the Filipino language, and aired on IBC-13, which premiers on September 2015, in partnership with Asian Television Content (ATC) and in cooperation with the featured local government unit (lgu). The leader/local officials and/or local residents of the featured lgu will act as the program resource person/s. Additional voice-over narratives will be provided to adequately relay pertinent information.
