On April 30, 2016, BrEEd was able to launch its first prototype in Pio, Porac, Pampanga along with its esteemed guests and representatives from different organizations. A total of fifteen learners were then engaged in the ideation of their potential enterprises. Their outputs would later be presented to a panel for their immediate evaluation.
The learners were inspired by our speakers: Nicole Rapista and Jio Victorino who shared their valuable wisdom and personal experiences of being an entrepreneur. Ms. Rapista, the co-founder of Watson Institute Philippines, demonstrated how to find one's purpose through one's passion, mission, profession and vocation. Mr. Victorino, shared the 15 lessons he learned about what it takes to become a social entrepreneur.
Various representatives from our different partner organizations were also present during the event. We were blessed with the presence of the Barangay Captain Dimalanta, Vice Mayor Dexter David from the Office of the Municipality of Porac, Wilfredo Soliman from the Department of Agriculture, Karmela Indoyon from the Center of Bridging Leadership of the Asian Institute of Management and the President of the Entrepreneurship Club of FEU Patrick Manuel.
