iBelong Philippines imparts knowledge and skills to its scholars in order to equip them with the essential tools they need for life. We do this through our LIFE sessions, Values Formation seminars, and other specialized events to fit the students’ needs.
In the Fighting Chance Scholarship Program, these scholars are guided by our mentors or LIFE coaches. Trained students or young professionals come alongside our scholars to help them in their personal, academic, and spiritual journey. We do this through small groups as well one-to-one mentoring. iBelong Philippines radically envisions developing a generation of youth who will be nation builders as well as game changers in their respective fields.
LIFE sessions are one of the highlights of the Fighting Chance Scholarship Program. In addition to academic performance, iBelong Philippines is serious in molding the next generation of leaders. Our small group strategy intentionally deepens the four biblical principles of Leadership, Integrity, Faith, and Excellence. Every young person has the potential for leadership, and this leadership potential can be best developed when students learn how to serve others in the spirit of volunteerism. The Fighting Chance Scholarship Program not only trains students to become leaders but also to be men and women of character, people who can make a positive impact at the workplace and at home. The program seeks to encourage students to pursue a dynamic relationship with Jesus and with others so that the lessons they learn can be put in proper perspective.
